Robi

Robi is 9 and a half years old and has been in therapy since he was born. He comes to therapy with his mother, who takes care of him in a special way. Shortly after his birth, doctors announced Judith, Robi’s mother, that he will never be able to walk alone.

Robi’s mummy is a strong woman, a real fighter for her cub. She looked for solutions, specialists, she researched, she learned everything she could about the problems Robi was facing. She simply refused to give up. And thus, Robi has stepped on the long road of therapy and rehabilitation, his mother is eagerly awaiting every sign of recovery.

“When the doctors told me Robi’s diagnosis, I felt the whole world was collapsing. I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t see a solution. With the help of rehabilitation specialists, Robi has managed in recent years to evolve positively on the cognitive and educational level. He needs emotional support and permanent psychological counselling to help him accept his physical deficiency. Now Robi is going to school, he is a very sociable child, he has integrated very well and is making progress in education.

This summer, with the support of the “Sunshine” Association, the mother was able to purchase a new wheelchair as Robi is growing.
